How to Easily Read Faces and Facial Expressions

http://www.wikihow.com/Easily-Read-Faces-and-Facial-Expressions
Edited by DifuWu and 3 others
- Happiness - A smile, quite an obvious one, however, if there is no wrinkling, increase in puffiness or general muscle movement around the eyes, the person is faking the smile.
- Sadness - Eyebrows up, lips down-turned. Eyebrows up can also mean the person is feeling guilty.
- Contempt - One corner of the mouth rises, like a sort of 'half-smile'. In extreme contempt, the person's mouth shifts over in an odd way.
- Disgust - The top lip is raised, showing the teeth in extreme cases, like a scorn.
- Surprise - Gaping mouth with eyebrows raised. If this expression lasts longer than a second, the person is faking it.
- Fear - Eyebrows raised and lower part of the mouth lowered in extreme cases. Swallowing also indicates fear.
- Anger - Lips tightened, flaring nostrils, eyebrows pulled down and together are all signs of anger.

Establish a 'baseline' in the person you're looking for micro-expressions in. A baseline is their normal muscle activity when feeling little or no emotion. Ask them normal questions. Take mental note of their muscle activity when telling the truth. You're pretty much done. Just look for micro-expressions and try and fit them in with what the person is saying.
Tips
- Watch 'Lie to Me'. It is a fictional crime drama about a scientist who helps solve crimes with this facial expression and body language sort of stuff. All of the body language facts in the show are real. It is aired on Sky1 in the UK and aired on Fox in the US. The Pilot episode is best for learning the body language and facial expressions. The other episodes focus more on the crime.
- These help to tell if someone is lying. If the facial expression contradicts what the person is saying, they are lying.
OUR COMMENT : We attracted to choose this article because we want viewers to know how other people around us feels without talking to them. So that we can avoid misunderstandings and arguments.
How to Brighten Someone's Day
Steps
- Smile, smile, smile. Whenever someone sees a smiling face, it reminds them that they may have reasons to smile themselves, and it will create a happier mood.
- Greet everyone you see. This will make people feel that they have been noticed and accepted in their environment.
- Surprise people with small cheery gifts. Homemade cupcakes or a box of doughnuts for early morning are sure to bring a smile to someone's face.
- Compliments go a long way. People like it when you notice things about them because more than likely, they put a lot of thought into it.
- Promote Optimism. If something is going wrong for someone, twist it and show them the positive. Tell them how it would be worse if it went the other way.
- If it's a friend, be random. This can really brighten up someone's day, with all the random ramblings and outbursts.
Tips
- Small things go a long way when making people happy.
- Make sure the people who you are cheering up want to be in a good mood.
Warnings
- Make sure not to kill the mood by saying something really negative or sad.
- Don't overdo it or people will think that you are up to something and get the wrong opinion.
Our Comment: this article had been capture us to bring it here. we are choosing this because we want to help our reader to cheer up the people around them. moreover, with the good mood (can influence someone's day) will filled us with a smile all the day! (=

he said that Uitm Jengka condition was good. student ethics are not bad. the students are friendly and do follow the dresscode. although some students lack of attitude, not all them like that. As a driver for UiTM's bus, he hope that all the opinions are not just to be listen but need to be done. A talk without action was nothing.
As a student, she said that the best thing about UiTM is the environment. UiTM have a conducive environment for student as her pointer increasing when was here. She used to be at Kolej Alamanda before and now become a part of UiTM Jengka. In addition, the book here is more affordable because we are used to use a manual.
he as a resident around the UiTM Jengka said that UiTM's effort was good in teaching the Bumiputera. but, in his point of view, more of the student are lack in term of their attitude and need an improvement about that.
